During my social media internship at NARS Cosmetics, I supported the team across content management, analytics, and strategic research. My responsibilities included community management: monitoring and responding to comments, engaging with our audience, and maintaining the brand's distinctive voice across platforms. I also pulled user-generated content to identify authentic brand moments and potential repost opportunities, while handling various behind-the-scenes tasks that kept daily operations running smoothly. When needed, I contributed to video editing to support content production.

A significant part of my role involved data reporting and trend analysis. I compiled weekly and monthly performance reports that tracked key metrics and provided insights into content effectiveness. More critically, I conducted in-depth weekly trend analysis that examined both competitor activity and consumer behavior. Given NARS' very specific brand image and elevated aesthetic, I focused on translating viral trends into executions that felt authentic to the brand, often making recommendations for how NARS could leverage trending concepts without relying on trending audio, preserving the brand's sophisticated voice while staying culturally relevant.

I also fully ideated and created teaser Pinterest boards for NARS Global Ambassadors Ciara, Camila Morrone, and Pom Klementieff as part of the brand's 30th anniversary and Explicit Lipstick launch. These boards served as visual storytelling tools that captured each ambassador's unique aesthetic while building anticipation for the campaign.

My overarching project explored the viability of TikTok Shop for NARS. This comprehensive analysis included a history and general understanding of how TikTok Shop works and how consumers perceive the platform as a shopping destination. I conducted competitive analysis of total sales performance, identified top-performing videos driving commerce, and examined TikTok Shop's role in successful product launches across the beauty category. The project culminated in brand-specific recommendations for our launch strategy, including suggestions for events and social partnerships that would position NARS effectively within the TikTok Shop ecosystem while maintaining brand integrity.

CONTENT CREATION AND VIDEOGRAPHY
Capitalized on the trend of oversized products by aiding in the creative direction and filming of Orgasm Blush on the Go video.
